Simon Cowell is gathering musicians for a charity single to raise money for victims of the Grenfell Tower fire. Finding ways to raise money for charity is always a good thing, although Simon's taken some heat for not doing something more immediate (like donate his own money) or something to impact the politics that played a part in creating the kind of situation that caused such a massive fire (like use his influence to push for actual change). Joining the single are Robbie Williams, Louis Tomlinson, The Libertines' Carl Barat, Liam Payne, The Who, Emile Sande, Craig David, and X Factor stars Louisa Johnson and James Arthur. The single will be recorded on Sunday and ITV will be showing the video next week.
Today, we got possible Louis Tomlinson solo lyrics tweeted from an account that seems to have a past record of having lyrics to unreleased songs. Take with a grain of salt.
Violin? Nah. More like piano followed by some sick drums, a very subtle guitar and chill vibes.— Ultrasubversive (@ultrasubversive) June 16, 2017
I have an excellent track record providing exclusive information to fanbases of other artists. First time for Louis!— Ultrasubversive (@ultrasubversive) June 16, 2017
Liam Payne did an acoustic version of Strip That Down in a very awkward setup. Despite the way too close staging, the tears, and lyrics combined with all that, it actually did sound really good.
